Headteacher's Welcome
I wish you a very warm welcome to Oundle C of E Primary School’s website. It will give you a snapshot of the school with some interesting photos and information, but nothing beats visiting the building and school community to get a true ‘feel’ of what Oundle CE Primary is all about. Or you can ask those who know the school in the town and I am sure they will give us the positive review you are looking for.
As Headteacher, I am very proud of our school; the children, staff, learning environment and all that the school offers through its significant partnerships within the Oundle community.
Our vision for all pupils and staff is ‘to be the best they can be’. Our school seeks to enable all pupils, regardless of their starting points, to flourish as individuals and reach their full potential. By aspiring to be the ‘best they can be’, our children achieve well and strive for more. As the Head Teacher, I wish for all pupils to have a happy, memorable and inspiring primary education that sets the tone for life-long learning.
Our school building is spacious, colourful and conducive to our learning of all subjects. Previously a middle school, we are equipped with subject discrete spaces for learning – a rarity in the primary sector. Whilst a large school-site, our zoning of year groups enables pupils to feel part of a small group within the whole school community.
In addition to statutory primary education from Foundation Stage to Year 6, from September 2025 we have a Pre-school on site to welcome 3 / 4 year olds. We also offer wraparound care for all ages from 7.45 am to 6 pm.
If you are currently considering a school place for your child then please contact the school office to organise a tour and I will be happy to show you round our warm and stunning school.
I look forward to meeting you soon and working with you in the future.
